Is this too many fish?

I have a 55 gallon tank, pretty well planted, with 4 convict cichlids, 2 currently small oscars, and one 13 inch Pleco and was wondering if I could add to firemouth cichlids with the intention of upgrading to at least a 75 gallon tank within the next year
I meant 4 firemouth cichlids
