I went to the ER because my baby will not stop crying for three days and will not eat i took him yesterday but they didnt find anything wrong with him so now i took him to the ER because i felt he was in so much pain it turns out he has a thrush well they prescribed nystatin oral suspension 4 times daily 2.5ml and infants drop acetaminophen 5 times daily 0.6ml and infants ibuprofen 4 times daily 1.875ml..Right now im wondering if this is to much medicine for him i mean i know he needs the medicine for the thrush but does he really need all that ibuprofen and tylenol .?? He does look in so much pain and wont eat he spends all day crying but all that medicine puts him to sleep for hours i know this because they gave him some while we were in the ER he didnt eat he just went straight to sleep.
