A boy and his father had some personal problems in the household along with the fathers wife. The father used to abuse the boy (at times) and hit the wife, so the boy ran away(He is just 17 and just a year younger than 18) and the mother calls the police on her husband cause he hit her and calls the police to find her son. That day the father is sent to jail (Not the first). His son was already found but placed under house arrest. The son was found a state away from home.
Then he(dad) comes back from his jailtime, where he is sent back home. But the parol officer forces the son to hug his father when they met. The parol officer forces both father and son to be happy living together (just living happy together EVERYDAY like a non-actual family does; doesn't have to include assault) or else the father would have to leave (or go back to jail) and the son would have to have more time spent on his own probation.
This was tooken into court, and the judge also agrees that if they don't get along they'll do something about it. So they FORCE both of them to try and get along, and meddle into this family's bussiness.
You can't force a horse to drink water.
Is this a righteous act? Is it fair that the judge just forces both son and father to get alone? Is it right for a law/government to just meddle into PERSONAL bussiness? What can the son do?
