God created the world in opposites: day and night, land and sea, man and woman, life and death and of course the leanan sidhe and dearg-due "people", if you prefer to be timid. My perseptive of these two creatures is a little more accurate. The leanan sidhe are creatures translated as both fairy mistresses or fair sweehearts, but dont let the title throw you off; they are both beautiful and divine through their stunning and enticing green eyes, yet conisdered dangerous as well as evil for they never conceal their power, beauty and mistery. It is said that their lovers give them the vital depth of emotion that they crave and can weaken them physically and emotionally. But if you ask me, I think it is a bunch of crap because i have never met a guy that has merely dwindled my power, but i guess that could mean i just havent found my "true love". Its the dearg-due that you should always be alert about. They are the crazed, brutal creatures you should be worried about. They are not to be trusted with their all- knowing, persuasive orchid color eyes. Luckly for you, the leanan "people" have been oh so kind as too help annihilate these creatures. I quite like humans and i would do whatever it takes to rid the dearg-due creatures from the planet.
my book is about a girl (leanan- sidhe) who falls in love with a boy and they become inseperable until she finds out he is dearg-due and he finds out she is leanan-sidhe. Some of her powers leave her because of the love for him (as i explained before) so what will she do?
