Is this pre-built PC desktop specs a good deal (as in Australia) & suitable for me to use\purchase?

Planning to buy a new desktop since my current CPU is about to die soon since I have used it for several years. Very general stuffs like internet browsing, emailings, songs, movies etc, not much in gaming or video editing or photo editing at all.

I am wondering which one would suit me better for the criteria above?

Alternatively, I am also considering already built in HP Pavillion desktop and I heard it is good? So would like to hear your comment for this one

(Price I saw in another shop is currently $AU599)

I don't know if they are good deals or not considering the specs they have listed. I am also a bit concerned if 4GB ram is a bit low since I have seen 8GB, 16GB and even 32GB unless the criteria I specified are irelevant for me?

Also, I know nowdays, they put new Window 7 and I am wondering if I can install XP since I don't like to use Windows 7 much as I have tried before?

One last thing, I notice people also buy SDD hard drive or something. Is it recommended I get one too or it's not much difference to a normal hard drive anyways?

Your suggestions and advices will be very much appreciated to help my decision in purchasing the product

Cheers
