Boy Hit By Meteorite Travelling At 30,000mph
Gerrit Blank was on his way to school when he saw a massive fireball heading straight towards him from the sky.
The white-hot meteorite bounced off the schoolboy's hand and hit the ground so hard it left a foot-long crater in the tarmac - as well as a three-inch scar on his hand........
How can something travelling at 30.000MPH "bounce" off a kids hand, Iwould have thought it would have vaporised him. When you see a kinectic energy bullet or shell hit a tank....Blammm !

It didn't bounce off his hand it just grazed it and made a 3 " scar but then hit the ground and made a 1' crater.

A small object can still kill you if its travelling and those sort of speeds because the object becomes heavier so he should have some sort of hole in is hand or he should be dead
