serious advice? I am a reasonably fit 17 year old girl, 5 foot 5 tall and weigh 9 stone.
I've done lots of mountain biking, usually about 30 miles on very tough ascents and very technical cycling, but only over one day, then not doing it again for a while.
One of my friends is cycling with some of his friends from John o' Groats to Lands End, which is nearly 900 Miles in August, over 11 days for charity and I would very much like to join them.
This gives me 4 months until we would go.
Would it be possible for me to be able to do this? Obviously I would have to train very hard, but how much training per week would you suggest to become fit enough?
