I have a one gallon tank for my betta fish. It has an oxygen stone in it which we run all the time, and a light which we do turn on for the betta. We feed her betta pellets, and have had her for 6 months now. She seems to be doing wonderful. We change her water once a month, maybe we should change it twice a week? Does she need a filter? She seems to be healthy, she has grown a little since we got her and she is definitely a somewhat active fish compared to when we got her at the store and she just laid on the bottomof that little tiny cup the store had her in. I am fairly new to fish care.
