Is this normal?

Hey everyone,
I went to see my Doc a couple of days ago b/c I was having terrible turning in my throat, so he prescribed me some prevacid to take for a week. It's been helping with the burning, but I'm getting this air bubble feeling in my chest or throat like I have to burp, but it's hard to and sometimes when I do food or mucus comes up? Is that normal with acid reflux?
 
Many people who have reflux have burping/belching as a symptom.

It is certainly normal.
