is this normal or is my phone broke?

hi all,

ok i have a boost i450 and i can't call my voicemail from my phone i always get a busy signal when i try to call from the boost phone itself so i have to call from a outside line i don't no why it does'nt work but it did when i first had the phone

but now since i only turn the phone on when i'm going out which is maybe 2 to 3 times a week since i'm a homemaker

when i first turn my phone on to leave out the house it does'nt let me no that i have new voicemails i have to go to the message center and than i'll see 0/2 meaning i have 2 messages

i thought the phone rings when you first turn it on if someone leaves you a voicemail while you've had it off or is this part now broke to

does anyone else's nextal/boost phone not notify of new voicemails after it's been off for a few days

nope it should still notify you unless you have it set not to. Too bad it is a boost because if you have had it for awhile then your basically out of luck if it is broken. You might take it to a service center and ask. They wont fix it but at least you can find out if its your phone or not and hope that it is still under warrenty if it is otherwise you will be buying a new phone. Odds are you just have the settings changed and you need to change them back.
