I have had two episodes like this, 2 weeks ago and again today...
I get up in the morning, and I can tell that something isn't right with my breathing....as I continue to try to collect myself, I start feeling anxiety, my legs and arms start feeling heavy, I start having a feverish feeling, like flushing...but not a hot flash....
I can't catch my breath, I will use the albuterol inhaler, and don't feel anything immediately, but after a few minutes I can cough up mucus....
It almost feels like I am going to go into a full panic situation,.. if I start breathing slowly out through my mouth, I can get it under control....
Does this sound like asthma? I had a methacholine challenge last week, the tester said that i had mild twitchiness to my lungs based on the test..I did feel some chest tightening only on the last vial of irritant that he used....
I was in cold air over the weekend, AC air...which is always a trigger for me...and I took Mucinex Sunday and Monday...I thought if you had congestion that was something you should take...but someone on here had mentioned not taking decongestants.....anyone else do that?
