My girlfriend and I broke up 9 months ago, we had quite a nasty break up. When we were together she was very serious about me, she told me i'd have her heart forever unless I ordered her away. She recently got into a new relationship and is apparently "in love" with this new girl. I'm still madly in love with my ex and I want her back, but she says she wants to be my best friend only.
Here's where I'm confused:
1. She says she needs me in her life
2. She can't get rid of me even if I begged her to tell me to
3. She allows me to phone her everyday where I end the conversation telling her I love her
4. We text each other all day
5. I'm allowed to hang out with her without her girlfriend being around
6. We playfully flirt over phone calls or text messages
7. We still speak about our past relationship almost everyday
The list goes on.
She tells me she's not in love with me and will never take me back.
Can someone PLEASE tell me what's going on because this is confusing the hell out of me?
