Is this NEW 2008 Mazda some sort of trick?

I am buying a car and my local Mazda dealer has 2 NEW 2008 vehicles on the lot. I called another Mazda dealer who said that their dealership barely has any 2009 models left since the 2010s are already in.

I am considering the 2008 because of all the incentives, but is such an older car a red flag?
 
It may have been a demo or loaner car since its basically 2 years old. Those cars typically get abused. I'd want to know why its been there so long.
