Is this my asthma?

Been short of breath all day all week .. ive had asthma my whole life but was fine and basically gone up untill 3 months ago .. im on pulmicort and xopenex ..


i take my peak flow before i take a xopenex treatment and its only about 300

after the treatment its 600 625 and 700
 
SounRAB like an attack to me. And since the dialator works, that's more proof. Do you have an action plan for when this happens?
 
No i dont have any action plan basically because i dont have health insurance .. i cant just go and see a doctor anytime i want.

I was fine for years until 3 months ago, i went to urgent care which charged me and made me pay 280 dollars before they would let me see a doctor and got a bill for chest xray and breathing treatment.. he gave me the pulmicort, and i was fine for a month then bam all of a sudden it started again ..

I probably need a different medicine but i dont have my own doc to talk to about this stuff .. Im thinkin if this continues that im gunna go to the ER to see what they can do and just bare with the HUGE bill im going to get ..
 
So how many puRAB a day of the pulmicort are you on regularly? If it's less than the max dosage, you can probably increase to the max and it would help.
 
Ok, so I'm on 1 puff in the AM for mine. If I have a flare up I can, according to the plan from my pulmonologist, go up to as many as 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM. That's what a written plan does for you. I don't know what the max dosage for your script is but you could ask the pharmacist and up it to that and see if it helps.
