So I have some of the symptoms of LPR but not the most obvious ones.
I don't have a chronic cough, I might cough 2 times a day.
Right now my symptoms are as follows
1) Head pressure/headache
2) Swallowing trouble (occasionally)
3) Ear pressure and tenderness
4) While I am eating I feel better, alot of symptoms seem to go away with the ears etc.
4) Right after I eat I cough up a big wad of mucus and have to blow my nose. This last a few min, then I am ok. This is all the time regardless of other symptoms.
5) Probably some anxiety issues around feeling like this for the last month.
6) Have to clear my throat sometimes very forcefully to get the sensation out.
My Allergiest said he thought it was LPR and put me on Achiphex 20mg 2x day.
Since starting the aciphex I notice my chest (sternum) hurts some. Tender to the touch. Not sure if this is related or not.
What does everyone think?
I made an appointment with an ENT so he can maybe look down there with a scope and see whats going on.
Thanks
