The tank is 4 gallons(15 litres) I found an old 30w ballast in my drawer and i am going to buy a 15w tube for it today. so it works out to be a little bit more than 3 watts per gallon. Is this fine?
I am not going to add bleach! I am not an idiot! I set up the tank yesterday and i took one of the 2 filters from my already cycled tank and put it on this tank. I will upgrade the betta to my 17 gallon tank when i get my 80 gallon tank.
