I was in a car wreck in January of 2008. It wasnt my fault an old man ran a stop sign and smashed into me at 45mph, totalled my car and i had to go to the hospital.
His insurance only offered to pay me 600 dollars, and I felt that was inadequate considering all i had been through.
I then contacted a lawyer who i had been e mailing questions to, and he said he would take on my case and he was confidant he could get me more money to pay for a car and damages and whatnot...
Well its almost been two years, i have contacted this lawyer and asked how it was going for the past couple months maybe once a month or so, and he told me that he was getting medical bills from the hospital, EMT bills from the ambulance, and then recently he told me he was working with the hospital to lower the cost of the bills to get more money.
I just really want this to be over, am i impatient or is he slow? And if he is slow, what should i do about it? What can i say besides "what is going on".
