I am planning a trip to New York, and was wondering if this itinerary is reasonable time wise. I know certain things in NY can really take a lot of time, and I don't want to have to rush around to fit in everything. Here it is:
Beginning in Times Square around 1:00 in the afternoon.
Board the subway at the 42nd Street Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Take the BLUE LINE E TRAIN TO WORLD TRADE CENTER.
Visit Ground Zero – 3:00 PM Tour (Arrive around 2:00)--Tour lasts
approximately an hour and fifteen minutes.
Stroll up Broadway to Wall Street, NYSE, Federal Hall, Trinity Church, Federal Reserve Bank, South Street Seaport, Bridge Café, Brooklyn Bridge, and City Hall.
Take the Staten Island Ferry for a view of New York from the water
and an up-close view of the Statue of Liberty; departs every 30 min. from Whitehall Terminal (South Ferry). Approximately 25 minutes each way.
Take the Orange S44 Bus in Staten Island to Denino’s Pizzeria Tavern. Eat Dinner and return to Manhattan via the Orange S44 Bus, Staten Island Ferry (enjoy the nighttime views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and the New York Skyline), and board the subway at South Ferry and take the RED 1, 2, or 3 TRAIN TO TIMES SQUARE (42ND STREET).
Any suggestions for additional Downtown/Financial district attractions? Is it possible to do all this before say 10:00PM?
