Is this hypotonic, hypertonic, or isotonic?!?

Paramecium's influx, if unchecked, would bloat the cell and burst it, but the contractile vacuoles expel excess water. Water enters each vacuole's tubelike extensions and collects inside. A full vacuole contracts and squirts water out of the cell through a pore.


Is it hypotonic, hypertonic, or isotonic? How sure are you?
