Is this guy genuine or is he playing games? please help?

I know this is long but please do read it.

Imet this guy on a dating site, we have been chatting for a month he used to send me about 20-30 texts a day etc.

We went on a first date last week it went really really well, hee told me he liked me, complimented me a lot, and arranged to go on another date in a weeks time.

he was normal for 2 days after first date but then he didn’t text me as much abt 2-4 a day

I text him last nyt saying, is everything ok u have been really quite for the last few days, if you have lost interest in getting to know me then just tell me because I don’t wana get strung along because I like u too.
He text back a few hours later saying not well and busy at home and work.x
He text me twice this morning too but its still not the same as before.

Do you think he is genuinely busy all of a sudden as he said in the text or has he lost interest?
I have a feeling he may have started talking to someone else from the site?
What do you think? Please help.
 
Wow, i have been in this situation many many times. Never ever try to date someone from a dating site. You are not the only one in his in box, i suggest you keep it as platonic as you possibly can, people on dating sites especially SOME men are only looking for something or somethings to occupy themselves. More than likely if he wasn't to busy when you first started talking then he is not too busy now. Perhaps he is busy working on getting some one else or working on someone at home, who knows, guys are unpredictable so move on sweetie, eventually he will see that you have moved on and like most guys he will only begin to show you the attention you are seeking, i would advise you to find someone he is more willing to give you that attention, do not overwhelm someone who does not wish for your presence, just ignore him, after a while you will meet someone better whether it is off or on the dating site.
