I have this former best friend that I sold my car to. The plan was to pay $6,000 for the car valued at 7. He was taking out loans and was gonna pay me 3 in chunks of 2,000. The first loan that came in he spent in full on a 50' lcd tv. the second i got. The third i got1800 out of it. Then the last 2200 never came. He tells me it's not worth the total because it broke down. Its been one year since i sold it to him before it broke down. We got in an arguement about how much he should pay then I finally said 1,500 left instead of 2200. He also thought there was 2000 left instead of 2200. I agree on the 1500 because I didn't want to argue anymore. now he seems to think that I'm letting him do payments of 200 each month when he should've taken the last loan out. He told me he doesn't want to take out another loan because the interest rates are high. Am I right here or wrong? Does he have a choice here. Agreed to pay by the month but still haven't given me anything. it's been 3 months.
