Hello! Here are some things you should know about my tank for this question...
Tank Size: 14 gallons
Tank Contains: 1 Male Platy (My female platy just died)
Tank Temperature: 77 degrees Tank Temperature in other 5 gallon tank: 76 degrees
Other Comments: I have another 5 gallon tank containing 1 glowlight tetra and another male platy (My other female just died)
I wanted to know what kinds of fish I should get when my tank is completely cycled. I do want to have some fry so maybe something like livebearers but doesn't have to many fry like guppies do... Here are some fish I wanted to have in my 14 gallon.
2 marigold platies (male and female)
2 red tailed paimed albino platy (also known as the red tailed white calico platy male and female)
1 dwarf sucker catfish
2-3 male guppies
3-4 with zebra danios or leopard danios
Here are some questions:
Can i get a snail to add?
Is there any type of bottom feeder that could work (other then the one listed) that is like 2 inches or less?)
Is that fish plan okay?
Is there any other fish that cleans my tank (2 in. or under) besides shrimp and snails
Any other fish that are neat looking that can maybe replace one of the fish above
I don't want any goldfish (even though they need like 30 gallons and more) or a betta because bettas don't do anything!
Here is another list of fish I want... Would they work?
2 marigold platies (male and female
2 red tailed paimed albino platy (also known as the red tailed white calico platy male and female)
1 dwarf sucker catfish (they only grow up to 2 in)
2-3 male mollies (dalmatian)
1 snail, 1 dwarf frog OR 1 shrimp? (Wait, do the red apple shrimp or whatever they are called live in tropical water 77 degrees?)
On the first one... I don't need the guppies and zebra/leopard danios so take that off the first one!
