Is this evedence that the media, including Yahoo News, is slanted by a corporate agenda?

The Yahoo news headline reads;

"Reports show U.S. growth weak if not in recession"

Is there any doubt that we are in a recession? If not, why do all the corporate news outlets (Including the "Liberal" NPR) sound like there is?
