Getting the missile defense system in place in Europe, and trying to bring Ukraine and Georgia into NATO. Of course, he was undermined by the fairweather hypocrites of Germany and France.

His mission in Africa is good but the best lasting thing he will do is expanding the Western influence in Europe and limiting that of Russia esspecially as Putin is proving to be less trustworthy in his alliance with China.
 
You mean the possibility that by placing the missile defence system there he could re-start the Cold War?
