Is this caused by a leak in the heater core? 1988 Mazda MX-6 GT?

I asked a question earlier about covering this mold smell in my car because it has a lot of moisture in the air and condencation on the windows. I got this answer

I have a better idea. Go see your mechanic, and tell him your heater core is leaking. He will fix it, things will dry up, and the smell will go away.

You are smelling antifreeze. There's also a wet spot on the carpet just under where the glove box is, over there on the passenger side.

And there is a wet spot on the carpet under the glove compartment. Do you think it's the heater core?

the moisture and the wet spot sounds like the core to me you might try a good stop leak first and then if problem persist. then replace heater core.bar's leak is my personal favorite.
