i was thinking of importing a 1997/98 mercedes benz C200 from japan...

is this car allowed to be imported into australia?

and if it is allowed, then once its arrived and everything is paid for (shipping and etc) is it allowed to be driven on australian roads?

please let me know!
im not sure if i can import this car and even if i am, im not sure if its allowed to be driven on australian roads once imported...

i live in melbourne, australia by the way

should do if it passes Australia standard saftey rating it should be legal to drive on our roads plus a few more small things.
