The beauty of Preston Academy is what convinces sixteen year old Juliet Freeman to go on a scholarship. But Juliet thinks otherwise. She is anything but happy at the news of moving from rural Kansas to busy New York. Finding it difficult to get along with her roommate Cara Talerico, she finds comfort with Jasmin Daley. In the winter at Preston, everyone is expected to leave Preston to spend time with family and friends. Unfortunately Juliet and several others get trapped inside the school due to a freak blizzard. With no teachers or staff around, they have to fend for themselves. As if anything couldn't get any worse, there's a killer on the lose. Pretty soon students start to die off in gory, painful and horrible ways. All the deaths seem to point back to Juliet, but she's convinced who the killer is. And the killer is someone that's been with her all along.
