I am interested in buying my first bike. In a normal day, I don't expect to cycle for more than 3 miles and I anticipate that I'll be traveling mostly on the road or on the pavement. I have decided to opt for a mountain bike because it appears that MTB are good on and off the road, whereas road bikes cannot/should not be ridden off the road.
