Is this baseball glove good for 2nd base?

I bought a Wilson Dual-Welting 11.5 " A0700 1786 glove. I bought it about a year ago, and I didn't know anything about gloves, and the baseball season was over. I gained interest again, and now I am worried if this Wilson glove is good for second? Is Wilson a good brand? I used Hot Glove treatment on my glove and I haven't noticed a difference. My glove is broken in, I guess, but I want the broken in feeling my friend has on his Mizuno glove, it's very thin and is closeable like my hand. Will my Wilson A0700 glove ever reach that level? Will it ever get thinner? Everybody hates me for not being able to catch, but love me for hitting homeruns. I'm the captain, and I don't want to dissapoint my teamates since I can't catch. I can catch anything with my friend's thin Mizuno glove, but I'm sub-par with my glove. Do I still have some breaking in to do? If so, how?
