Is this appropriate pricing for my art?
I do acrylic paintings on canvas, all abstract and full of color. I love to put my moods and feelings on canvas, and I have friends who want me to paint art for their homes.
Anyways, I have never sold them before but I am thinking what the heck, it could be fun- now, is this appropriate pricing?
I plan to take the cost of the canvas and paint materials for each painting, and then times that by two. So a painting that cost me $30 to create will sell for $60.
Is this too high? I know that I can change my prices depending on demand and how they are recieved at the craft fairs, ect- but to start out with, is this fair?
