Is this an ok Telescope?

Hey I am thinking about buying a used telescope for $50 from somebody. It is a Meade Model 4400 Telescope and I just want to see the moon and maybe mars and stars with it. If anybody knows anything about this telescope please let me know. thank you

comes with h12.5mm eyepiece and viewfinder
Just wondering if i can see crators on the moon with it or even mars
 
Yeah, that'll make a nice image.
