I was wondering if this would be an effective way to discipline a student who misbehaves. If the student is talking or acting up, to have him stand up and have him apologize to the class for disrupting the educational process. If the student refuses to this then, I would tell the class if the disruptive student doesn't apologize then we all have to come back afterschool. I'm not saying I would actually make every student stay after because of the actions of one but I feel that saying that would make the kids see why it is important to behave.
