Is this an appropriate thank you note for a college teacher?

The teacher is actually a graduate student and not a "real" teacher; I don't even know if they actually care about how we do ... but if they don't they're doing an awfully good job at acting like they do care and I feel like I should thank them. So:

Thank you for your generous help this quarter. I truly appreciate your willingness to work with my project as well as your clear and detailed explanations to every single one of my other concerns; In the end it was a direct reason for why I was able to improve and exceed my goal for this class!
