Is this an allergy to mushrooms? (The sort used for cooking)

I just wanted to make sure people knew I wasn't talking about magic mushrooms. :)

Anyway, I used to be fine with mushrooms. I could eat 4 of them chopped up on a bacon sandwich or have them nicely fried with a bit of bacon and egg in the morning. A few months ago though I noticed I start to feel run-down on Tuesdays. I felt really nauseous. I wasn't sure whether it was just tiredness from college though.

But every Tuesday my dad insists on making "fry-ups" with egg, bacon, mushrooms and all that sort of stuff and soon I realised it was something there that made me feel sick. I thought it could have been the grease on the eggs or something, so for awhile I had something different on Tuesdays and I still felt a tiny bit ill. But then on Monday night we had steak, chips and mushrooms. I ate the mushrooms and about 10 minutes after I felt like I could throw up.

This morning I had an omlette for breakfast and because I was running late for college I just ate it without realising it had mushroom in and I ended up feeling sick up to lunch time. I have no other symptoms apart from the sickness and feeling like I want to throw up after eating them.

Could this be an allergy? Are there any ways to check?
