Here's a poem I wrote today...
I cried today...
This isn't new..
It's been happening for quite a while,
but mostly,
when its your number that I dial.
I call your phone-
But mostly,
When i'm sad and feel alone..
These days,
that's 24/7...
and the last time I heard your voice,
It felt like heaven.
I lay awake,
thinking of you...
they say you've given up,
Is that true?
and if it is,
dont let me stand in your way.
Even a simple goodbye,
I'd love to hear you say.
I can only hope,
and pray,
That we'll meet again someday.
Mom says things will be back to normal,
eventually.
But until then..
Let's just wait and see.
