Is this a scary diet and exercise plan? Too fast?

I've a friend I'm worried about. She claims she spoke with a dietitian but the people I've spoken with agree with me that what she is doing is dangerous. Then again none of us are experts.
She exercises daily at least an hour as far as I can tell, but regularly its four hours (biking swimming and two different martial arts classes on top of which she is doing life guard training) she reads her daily calorie intake/burned ratio like a score she's proud of. Today it was 1230/4245(not always such a spread but she regularly burns one and a half more than she takes in on less than a 2000 a day plan) Yes she is overweight and has mad significant progress to reach a healthy body weight, but it's the way she is going about it that frightens us.
