Usually my work is good but last year it went slightly downhill due to working by day and studying by night. I knew I was not going to get a good review at the end of the year. However I did not expect to be humiliated. My boss came out of her office with her friend and when she saw me both her and her friend started laughing and said "I am about to do your review and will soon wipe the smile off your face".
Also with the same company I was asked to go on a detachment for 3 months. They lied to me and I ended up being there for 3 years having to work with a woman no one wanted to work with who suffered from depression and anxiety. I was very unhappy. The job was 2 grades higher and I was never paid extra for doing this. However, I got a good reference.
Regularly where I work they hire friends and this creates a bad atmosphere. Also favouritsm exists, some people are no good at their work but never get told off.
Several of my colleagues are depressed and unhappy where I work. One is taking our boss to a tribunal for unfair treatment. Another colleague committed suicide due to harassment.
Should I look for a job elsewhere? I am unhappy here.
