she is a yellow bird with big meanings and small songs.
i am a lumberjack with clumsy hands and a steel heart.
her smiles are her wings. she closes her eyes and flies away from me.


i wrote it for a friend that needed a metaphor poem for his english class, and i just want to make sure he's getting what he needs :]
