is this a joke or is this a real relationship?

I met this guy back in may at school. he started flirting with me and i was very focused on school so i missed it. He came over to my apt one day (unexpected) and seen me outside of my suit and heels. (I was wearing pajama pants and a WWE shirt and my hair was down and scraggly) He commented on how calm and different i am away from school. I told him i wasn't looking for anyone so i blew him off. well as time went by i started to realize how handsome he was. problem is he is 20 years older than me, has a son, lives at home, and has no time for me unless he wants sex. I told him about a test we had and he was happy and texted me back to tell me thanks and the grade he made on another test, but when i asked him if he wanted a kiss, dinner or a cookie he didn't reply and when i asked him he smiled and gripped my knee. if you want more info because it is a long complicated situation just ask. I am so confused. should i ignore him?
