Is this a good way to describe the "Way of Life" in the development of Islam?

My math teacher corrected this for me, but is it any good?:

Most Muslims follow certain practices in their everyday lives. The jihad is part of Islam. Jihad means “struggle.” Jihad can mean both military and peaceful struggles. For example, Muslims can struggle, or work hard, to better their communities. The Qur’an contains information on how to deal with marriage, divorce, and business. Muslins worship in mosques on almost every Friday in the late afternoon. Islam does not have a certain central religious leader. It has religious teachers who study the Qur’an and the acts of the Muhammad.

Is it ok, or do you have any suggestions to make it better?
