Is this a good way to boost your credit?

Well, I've previously worked in Retail. I remember always having this customer who always returned about $100 worth of items about once a month. After awhile, the associates started wondering why. We thought maybe she purchases with her credit card, waits for her statement and pays it off in full, then returns it for credit, that way it'll improve her credit. Anyone else thought of this or even does it? Does it look good on the credit card company though? Can this maybe raise suspicion to the store or credit card company? Just curious. :)
They were brand new with all the tags still on them. It seems like she just puts them in her closet and waits a month. Even if she did or didn't wear them or anything, that's not my point. Lol, would this maybe still be a good way to help raise credit?
Well, what if the credit card was used in different stores and each store was visited about once every six months or so. The only suspicion would be from the credit card company, right? Instead of the store itself.
