is this a good way to add a little power to my 5.5 hp honda comrcial engine?

i have a little 5.5 horse power honda commercial engine the red and white ones with the steel tank. i built a little dragster mini bike and i would like to place it in the bike. i wan it to have some power. i was thinking of adding a hotter spark spark pug, royal purple synthetic oil, open header with header wrap, premium octane fuel from the gas station, and a custom k&n ram air intake. will this be a good combination for a little more power? any suggestions? thanks-Ryan
 
Nothing you have suggested will add noticeable power. The premium gas is a waste of money for that engine, and may actually yield a decrease in power. The intake and exhaust mods will lean out the mixture, calling for a cooler plug, if anything.

That is a nice little motor for a mini bike. A buddy built one, driving the rear wheel through a variable belt and chain final. It would wheelie with a 190 lb. rider. Why would you need to bugger up a nice, reliable powerplant like that?
