is this a good low carb shake for hiking in the morning?

every day before college i like to take a 6 mile hike, or rather hike 3 miles to my favorite giant rock, climb up it and eat breakfast, then head back in time to catch a bus.

So here is the recipie ive been fiddling with.

1/2 cup of coconut milk
1/3 cup of water
1 tablespoon of coco powder
1/2 tablespoon of honey.

with the honey it ends up being about 10 carbs, but im concerned about the calories. I usually make a double portion and give half to my little brother.

I am jealous of that routine..and yum coconut milk! I have a bowl of cereal with pure coconut milk every morning and eat coconut oil with just about everything. Love coconut..

Personally I would incorporate fruit or something instead of honey and coco for nutrition purposes.
But if its purely for some quick energy that sounds good to me.
I wouldn't worry about the calories at all if you're active. It's harder to get too many calories than people make it sound if you are active.

A 6 mile hike will burn that and more.. hope you bring a good breakfast.
