I've been stuck for a plan for quite a while :/ I'm 16 right now and leaving school this summer. This isn't a life plan as such but it's my plan up until the end of Uni which is, as far as my scope goes, life.
First step: study abroad in Japan. I've had a private tutor in Japanese for the past year so I can express myself basically in Japanese. We've been in contact with a lot of different companies already and while we may not get onto any programs this year because we're so late, one school we've been in contact with accepts students up to the age of 19 for their year program
then: go to college to do BTEC Travel and Tourism. I want to go to Uni at some point but I need some kind of course I'm interested in so I have the motivation to get good grades, as well as one to compliment Japanese A Level that I'll be studying at home.
after that: Do a four year Japanese language degree, with the third year abroad.
How does this plan sound? What kind of jobs or opportunities would come with this plan? Would you change anything? What's good about it?
(my parents and I have already discussed the difficulties, especially with study abroad. We've been let down several times already)
