17 year old Marie and Lizzy have a perfectly normal and happy life. Well, until Evan shows up. His secret brings death and loved ones. When they learn what he is Marie finally understands everything. Forgotten and old memories come back and cause Marie pain and sadness. Her grip on reality is slipping,and the only reason she's here is because she doesn't want to cause everyone else pain. Several friends (old and new) join in and share the secret. Marie takes place for her imprisoned friend. Everyone suffers from her loss, and plans to save her. The battle for life and death begins.
