The major concentration and minor concentration together is 31-72 hours. I'd like my major concentration to be social studies and minor concentration to be history.
The rest of the degree requirements are 30-42 hours of general education requirements and 48 hours of professional education requirements
From what I understand it doesn't matter what the concentration is because elementary education teachers teach everything. That is quite a bit of credits in the concentration though, so I have to double check. I would really enjoy learning and teaching history and social studies, but finding a job would be nice too. There is a specific city I have in mind to move to someday.
