Hey all..
I just spoke to a Bell Rep about bundling services (Home phone, Internet and TV) and was wondering if this is a good deal or not.
Right now.. I pay 24$ phone, 40$ Internet (5mbps, unlimited) and no TV services.

So I spoke to the rep and he said if i bundle 3 services together, I can save a lot of money.
So he's basically offering me now: phone, Internet (7mpbs, 60Gb limit .. i dont go over that anyway) and HD Basic package (+ 2 theme packs) for 92.11$ (tax included). Now is this some kind of scam or something? because it seems cheaper than expected.
In the TV portion I told him the channels I wanted in HD: all the networks in HD (abc, ctv, nbc..etc), TSN HD, SportsnetHD, RaptorsTVHD, theScoreHD and National Geograhic HD. So he built me some package with HD Basic and added 2 theme packs and he said the cost of it is 26$(for HD BASIC) plus 10$ (2 theme packs).

I checked and I don't see how he added theScoreHD... so was he mistaken?

Anyway.. for 92.11$.. is this a good deal based on what i'm currently paying (64$ phone and internet)?

Its a great deal if they were telling you the truth. You should be already be getting a $10 discount for your phone & Internet bundle.

lol.. actually.. my internet is with another company... so i wanted to move internet to Bell and get TV with it.

so 92.11$ is good?

I spoke with them tonight and they offered me Telephone Basic (which I have with them already) Internet Essential Plus (the best I can get in my neighbourhood) and TV HD Basic, 4 HD Theme Packs and 1 Digital Theme Pack for $101.84, plus tax I think.

With Rogers I'm paying almost $120 with on phone service (but 7mb internet).

Keep your unlimited Internet. At least they were up front with you and told you the bandwidth cap was 60GB.

The price does seem okay though.
