Is this a good deal on a used Honda Civic?

For $600 sounds like a deal if it runs fine then ya its a deal just dont get to into it cause you may have to put some money into it after a while
 
I'm looking into buying a 1986 Honda Civic (in Ontario, Canada). They are asking $600. It has 240000 km... I looked at it today - the engine doesn't look very well maintained but it seems to run fine and it has passed the safety inspection. Does this sound like an alright deal???
