I need to do 3 more current events from around the world this quarter and I chose the story/thingy about the Iranian woman who committed adultery and was sentenced to be stoned to death but the u.n. (European nations) made the country stop the stoning or something like that so is this a good current event paper?
Adultery is not something that Iran takes lightly, especially not when it comes to women. A women in Iran, By the name of Sakineh Mohammad Ashtiani, Committed adultery, and the Iranian Government Decided to proceed as usual with they’re punishment to get stoned. Word got out to the U.N. or the European nations, which was declared a barbaric punishment, and something that should and will not be tolerated, which lead confrontations with the Iranian government, and caused a Delay in her punishment.
would it be too inappropriate with the adultery or is it good?
