Im thinking of buying a VW Golf from a used car dealer. Its a 98 VW golf. 5 Speed Manual. Is this a good car or buyer beware. I read alot of mixed reviews about problems from the reverse gear and electrical nightmares with the car alarm. Anyone with personal experience with this year make and model please let me know... Pros and Cons. Everyone else, I don't really care for nonsense.
